Meet Bettina

Having lived and worked on two continents, Bettina has become a unifying force, in both life and business. Building bridges between cultures, people, and teams is not just her passion, but her profession.

With over 20 years of cross-functional leadership experience spanning marketing, product development, business strategy, operations, and compliance, Bettina has led major digital transformation and data initiatives across a wide range of industries and company sizes.

But Bettina’s story isn’t just about data, technology, and strategy, it’s about helping others succeed. A natural mentor and team builder, she’s passionate about empowering others, especially women, to lead with confidence and curiosity. Her approach blends technical excellence with a deep commitment to collaboration and continuous learning.

Outside of work, Bettina brings the same passion and curiosity to her personal life. She enjoys exploring new cultures through food and travel and is always perfecting her culinary and bread-making skills.

Career Journey & Achievements

Bettina currently serves as Vice President of Privacy & Data Governance at Omeda, where she oversees the stewardship of over 500 million PII records across more than 150 clients. She holds certifications as an Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional (AIGP) and Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) and has earned two MBAs, one in Technology Management and another in Global Enterprise Management.

She is a frequent speaker at conferences, has appeared on industry podcasts, panels, and roundtables, and is anticipating the publication of her first book contribution later this year.

Bettina also serves as Co-Chair of the New York City-based German-American Scholarship Association, where she helps raise funds for transatlantic scholarships. In addition, she advises other leaders on data and AI governance, privacy, and responsible data use.

Words of Wisdom

"You don’t have to fit a box to lead as a woman in tech, instead, be brave enough to break out of it and create a bigger box by adding space for others to rise."

Why Women in Tech Matters to Bettina

Being a woman in tech isn’t just about representation, it’s about transformation. Throughout my career, I’ve witnessed how powerful it is when diverse voices are not only heard but empowered to lead. When we lift each other up, it’s not just about changing the “face” of tech but about shaping its future.
